Bryanna Schwarting M.S. Ed., CCC-SLP

Bryanna Schwarting, Owner + Founder of The Mouth Rehab, is a board certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in the State of Virginia and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) where she currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Bryanna specializes in treating adults with neurological impairments affecting swallowing function, voice, communication, and cognition. Her clinical interests expanded to myofunctional disorders and their impact on eating, breathing, speech and sleeping after becoming a mother of her two sons born with tethered oral ties. Bryanna firmly believes in identifying the root cause of oral dysfunction to achieve proper oral rest posture, nasal breathing, and restore proper chewing and swallowing patterns. Bryanna has been practicing speech since 2018 with individuals across the lifespan within various settings including skilled nursing facilities, continued care retirement communities, long term care, assisted living facilities, memory care units, schools and pediatric private practice. Her dedication to functional, evidence-based, person-centered, and holistic care sets her apart from other Speech-Language Pathologists. Bryanna's compassion, vivacious energy and ability to connect, allows her to build trusting relationships with her clients. In her spare time, you'll find Bryanna as a doula for close friends, researching, spending quality time with her sons and husband, attending church, or practicing yoga.
